I got a comment regarding iGlobal Surveys and the person was unsure of joining. I know through experience that there are so many survey sites out there. I use to join a lot of them, but what happened was it got a little overwhelming that it got to the point where I had to scale back.
If you’re unsure about joining IGS, please take the time to read my iGlobal Surveys Review, this way you may decide if IGS is a good fit or worth your time.
Specs About iGlobal Surveys
Product: iGlobal Surveys
Overall Ranking: 7/10
What is iGlobal Surveys aka IGS?
- It’s a survey site.
How does it work?
- It’s a site that pays you based on completing surveys. If you reach their minimum payout, you will get paid through PayPal.
How much does it cost?
Who can join?
- Anyone 18 years or older that lives in the U.S.A.
Like I just said, I joined a number of survey sites back in the day. I like to let people know straight off the bat that completing surveys is a legit way to earn some extra cash. It’s not going to be a full-time income and surveys are time-consuming.
Now that we got that straight and if you’re looking into survey sites to join, you should look at the ones that won’t eat up a lot of your time. The reason being is that the more surveys you get done, the more money you can make.
Before we get into this review, I want to get into the pay ratio on surveys and the time-consuming part. Yeah, survey sites normally pay you.
If you run across a site that says, you can make a lot of money doing surveys, most likely it’s a scam. I’ve done reviews on those too, so don’t let those survey sites that say you can make all this money fool you.
How Much Do Surveys Pay?
From my experience, the average survey will pay .50 cents within a 10-minute time frame. To find a 7-minute survey is rare, though. The average time a survey runs is around 20 minutes that pay around $1.00 on average.
This is the average, though, you may find some surveys that pay more or pay less. On average though, this is what I experienced by doing surveys.
Why Are Surveys Time Consuming?
The reason why survey sites are time-consuming is that you don’t get paid based on qualifications, but on completing a survey. Yep, before you even can complete a survey, you spend more time trying to qualify for surveys.
You can spend up to 20 minutes trying to qualify for a survey just to be told, I’m sorry you do not qualify for this survey. It happens more often than you think.
If you do qualify for a survey, (which does happen) you spend 20 minutes qualifying, then maybe 10 minutes completing a survey that pays .50 cents.
This is an understandable reason why people tend to think survey sites can be scams. People spend their time trying to qualify for a survey and then, after all, that time you end up with .50 cents for the day.
I’m being real here so yeah you can make extra money with survey sites, but as I said, it’s not a full-time income.
Now Let’s Get Into IGS
Just so you know, all survey sites are free, you shouldn’t pay any money to join any survey sites. Remember any service that is asking you to do anything type of task should be free. It’s your time they are asking for in return for some sort of pay.
When I got to IGS’s site it looked pretty decent. They don’t ask for a lot of your info to sign up plus it is also free.
So I decided to check it out to see if there is anything different from any of the other survey sites that I’ve used in the past.
I didn’t notice a big difference except their site loads a little slowly. I checked on other devices to see if it was my computer, but with every device I used, it loaded pretty slow.
This could be a downer for some people because like I said, surveys are time-consuming and people who do surveys want everything to run fast and smoothly as possible.
What Is IGS’s Pay Ratio
IGS’s pay ratio is not that bad. It’s not the best, but they pay you by points. They also pay you through PayPal.
The way IGS’S pay ratio works is that their minimum payout is $5 bucks. So for every 500 points, you’re able to cash out $5.00 dollars.
I’ve seen surveys that offer a minimum payout of 1000 points at $10 dollars. The best payout survey site that I’ve come across is Opinion Outpost, it’s 100 points for $10 dollars.
Why Is The Ratio Important?
The payout ratio is important because of time. If you’re going to complete a survey and the points are high, it’s going to take you a lot longer to cash out.
This means that most people tend to quit survey sites because it takes too long to accumulate the points needed to cash out.
With IGS, I put them in the middle. The problem I had with IGS, is that when they showed me sites I could qualify for surveys, they showed me currency instead of their points.
I personally didn’t like this because I feel that they should do the math for you. Most sites that offer points per survey will let you know how many points you would accumulate after completing a survey.
IGS’s Referral Program
I found that with IGS’s referral program, I personally feel you won’t make a lot of money through their referral program but at least they offer one.
IGS laid out how much money you could get paid through their referral program. If you look at the image above you could see it’s not bad.
If you’re going to recommend or refer anyone to survey sites, they have to be the type that will actually do them, otherwise, you might as well count that referral as a loss.
Why Did I Scale Down On Survey?
I wanted to bring this up because some of you may be new to surveys. After experiencing survey sites, I noticed that all these survey sites offer the same market research companies.
Why log into a number of different sites for the same reason? This is why the pay ratio is important.
If you’re going to get paid higher on one site, why bother with the others? This is something I would recommend you think about.
Which Survey Sites Do You Recommend
I like survey sites that offer a good pay ratio, a referral program is good, but most importantly, you don’t really have to go through a qualification to get accepted to surveys.
These sites are not perfect, but I suggest you read my reviews before you join.
Opinion Outpost-has a good pay ratio, I highly recommend them because you are more likely going to cash out rather than some of these other survey sites. Just so you know, you do have to go through the qualifying process just like with any other survey site.
Instant Cash Sweepstakes-is a little different. You don’t have to qualify to do their surveys, plus they offer sweepstakes as another way to make extra cash.
Paid Viewpoint-is the sister site to ICS, they are a little different through. They offer surveys to you through email. Their surveys are fast. To give you an idea, they won’t take more than 5 minutes to finish. You also don’t have to go through a qualification process which is why I like this service.
Tellwut-is another survey site that I like. Their surveys are more about gossip and the latest news so people do them because they are fun. They don’t pay you by cash but through gift cards. They do have $25 dollar Credit Card gift cards so you don’t let that stop you from joining.
Other Sites That Offer More Than Surveys
I have a few sites that I recommend that offer more than just surveys. I like to recommend these to people because people may not want to do surveys all day.
Clixsense-is one of my favorites. It’s more of a PTC site. They do offer surveys and completing offers. With offers, though, I only recommend doing the free stuff, like watching videos. Just so you know, their main service is viewing ads.
Fusion Cash-is a good one. I call Fusion Cash the Yin Yang site. They have some really good qualities, but they also have a dark side, Lol. They never failed to pay me, so don’t let the dark side get to you. Once you learn your way around this site you can make some good extra cash. With these offers, I personally would recommend the free stuff.
Inbox Dollars-this site pays. They have some quirks too. They offer a good amount of Surveys you can try, but you do have to qualify for them too. You can watch videos and read emails to get paid through them.
Mturk: does not offer a referral program, but this site pays. Actually, Amazon pays you for completing tasks or surveys. What’s really great about this site is that you can use the money you earn to purchase products through Amazon or you can get the money deposited to your bank account.
How Much Time Do I Spend?
I don’t do Mturk or Opinion Outpost anymore. I personally just don’t have time to qualify for surveys and with Mturk, I just have my own websites to run and I’d rather make a lot more money working on my site than spending time on these sites.
There is nothing wrong with these two sites, It just that we all have the same time per day and using my time wisely is why I scale down.
As for other ones listed, I spend no more than an hour doing daily. Okay, there are days they may go over an hour because I can get distracted on some sort of video or something, Lol.
Especially when it comes to Tellwut. I like them because they offer surveys about the latest news and sometimes I just have to run off and read more about it, Lol.
Should I Join iGlobal Surveys?
If this site was really bad I wouldn’t hesitate to say stay away, but In the end, they look pretty decent.
What you should ask yourself is, is it worth your time? We all live by different schedules and lifestyles so what is good for one may not be for others.
Their pay ratio isn’t that bad, they offer a referral program and it seems pretty easy to join. The only thing I really didn’t like is that they didn’t state how many points they are willing to give you on every survey you attempt to complete.
For me, I don’t have time to play the guesstimate game. If you do, well this site may be a good one for you.
All In All
I personally feel that iGlobal Surveys is okay. It’s entirely up to you if you’d like to join. I wouldn’t expect too much with their referral program, but it’s another survey site that you can try.
I do think that there are other survey sites that offer a better pay ratio or a better way to use your time, but as I stated, what is good for one may not be for another.
