I didn’t know who John Crestani was or is. I didn’t know about an article in Forbes.
I didn’t know about his website, nor did I know about his YouTube channel.
The way I learned about John Crestani was from an ad through YouTube.
I was doing my thing minding my own business then his ad came on, and I watched it.
After I finished watching his YouTube ad, I wondered if people thought, is John Crestani a scam?
So I thought I’d express my opinion, what to look for when you see ads even on YouTube before you get on the bandwagon.
This part is crucial, the reason why I said what I said in the paragraph before this one, is that if I jumped on the bandwagon on every ad I saw, I would be in so much debt because I didn’t research first.
I want people to know this, and it’s vital for YOU to know details and what to look for before you join anything.

My Brief Take About His Video Ad
I remember checking out ads when I started my website back in the day. And I noticed that they all had the similarity feel whether it was a written or a video ad.
- screenshots of money made
- flashing shiny objects
- easy proven system
- make a lot of money quickly
After watching John Crestani’s YouTube Ad, I noticed that the only difference between those old ads and John’s ad is that John represented himself, which I found to be a relief and he also did his ad in a more modern way.
However, his ad and those old ads I noticed they had the same feel.
- screenshots of money made
- flashing vacations
- easy proven system
- make a lot of money quickly
Is He For Real
When you see an ad online whoever they say they are whether it’s the actual marketer or some fake name, research their name with the product name and start digging.
When I did that, I saw a YouTube video where Lol, John has on his table behind his laptop cash. I’m not talking about a wad of money, but a whole massive amount of cash.
I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw that shi*. I mean, really! Who does that!
Anyways, in this video, he talks about how you can make money in one day promoting his product to your friends and family on the social network sites.
If you don’t know this, his system costs $997, and if you were to get one of your loved ones to buy, you would make half commissions off of one of your friends or family if they never thought of purchasing it in the first place.
I don’t know about you, but in my opinion, I find that pretty sleazy.
Not to mention him having all this cash on the table. I’m assuming he did that because he wanted his video to go viral and of course, people will comment about the money on the table in that YouTube video.
Back To What Was On That YouTube Ad
He said he spent four years trying IM and now he has a proven system. He also states that it’s not one of those get rich quick schemes. Yet, he shows “make 10 thousand a month in 30 days” at the top of that ad.
He also shows people he helped, showed his tax returns, vacations he went on, Forbes, and his thoughts about Affiliate Marketing.
He did a live ad campaign where he said he was promoting Christie Brinkley’s product. He said if you don’t know who she is, she is a cute older actress.
I’m going to get off track for a moment.
Okay, my hand went up, and cat claws came out hiss! Because he called Christie Brinkley a cute older actress.
When he said, a cute older actress that hit a nerve because I’m familiar with Christie Brinkley’s career and to call her a cute older actress is an insult. He just demised her accomplishments as a woman who made a career for herself.
Christie Brinkley if you don’t know who she is a triple threat. A supermodel, an actress, and an entrepreneur. She is also a mother of 3 beautiful children.
And he is out there running PPC or Paid Ad campaigns not knowing much about her, just throwing ads in Facebook not aware of the woman behind the product.
I know I sound catty here, but Christie Brinkley has been on the cover of Sports Illustrated 3 times.
Not to mention many magazine covers and to say she’s just a cute older actress, just hit a nerve.
Anyways, let’s get back to business here.
I Don’t Know About You, But I Felt He Was Bragging In That YouTube Ad
I do not hate what a person accomplished. John indicated that there was an article written about him in Forbes.
I personally felt the article alone in Forbes is enough. I didn’t understand why he felt the need to show his tax returns and vacations and dah, dah, dah.
Think about this, I’m not saying John hasn’t made money, but you could put numbers on a tax return and say these are my tax returns.
He could have just introduced himself and his family. Indicate about the article written about him in Forbes and then his thoughts about affiliate marketing.
Finally, get into the details about his system and how successful other marketers are or were using his system.
For me, all that other shiny object stuff, I got that feeling that he is trying way too hard to get sales into his system.
Don’t get me wrong; there is nothing wrong with trying or trying too hard. I feel that the article written about John in Forbes should be enough.
If you get the feeling that someone is trying too hard to get you to buy it doesn’t hurt to just research.
There Was Some Concerning Info That I Feel You Should Be Aware Of
Some people may not know much about the online world when it comes to products and services, and this is why it’s a good idea to research first.
It is also a good idea to ask questions whether it’s in social network sites or forums like Reddit.
What got to me was that he said if you were to purchase his system, he is going to give you everything he knows with conditions.
I know there are terms and conditions with everything purchased. But this condition of working with one of the two affiliate programs that John recommends is concerning.
Obviously, he’s trying to build a team for himself. There is nothing wrong with building and making money.
It’s a red flag if you’re not into the MLM thing or obtaining recurring sales based on a system you don’t stand behind.
When he tells you, you must work with one of the two affiliate programs he recommends; it’s best to find out what they are and know that it’s going to cost you more money.
For instance, he showed MOBE.
My hand didn’t go up, and cat claws didn’t come out this time, I was concerned. I was worried about people who would get involved without doing their research.
If you don’t know this already, the FTC has taken action against MOBE for bilking people.
I will get into other concerns a little later, but let’s look at John’s system first.

I know people!
And I see this happen all the time!
People are excited about the first week or maybe even the first month.
Then their desire diminishes because they realize it’s not as easy as it seems and work is required.
Also, once they know they need more money, it’s going to be quite a challenge to keep at it.
Paid ads cost money. Even John says that in his YouTube video ad. I’ve done a few ads online, and you can get sales that way.
It does take time, and you should prepare a budget for ads if you’re looking to get into paid ads online.
For those of you who are just starting in the whole Internet marketing arena, I recommend you hold off.
The Price Tag Is Pretty Steep
The cost for John’s Super Affiliate System is $997. That is a lot of money starting off with the Internet or Affiliate Marketing. Not to mention other paid advertising expenses you’re going to have.
Then on top of that, he wants you to join one of his other affiliate programs that are not inexpensive in itself. ClickFunnels is $97 a month, and that is at the lowest rate. That is another $1,164 a year.
I’m not going to call out names here, but I’ve followed people who used ClickFunnels to funnel people to other systems. When I check back on a later date, their ClickFunnels link isn’t ClickFunnels anymore. They are using a more feasible service.
They use a more inexpensive service that does the same job. When you are on the Internet or Affiliate Marketing field, you want feasible expenses that make sense.
If you join MOBE, you are looking at thousands of dollars for their tier training and MLM system. It’s a lot of money that only promotes their services to other people.
To give you a quick rundown of MOBE’s price tag,
for their licensing rights, it’s $1,997.
With each tier, they sell cost you money. You cannot make money with MOBE’s tier system unless you buy into each tier level.
MOBE’s Tier Level Prices
- Silver Masterclass – $2,497
- Gold Masterclass – $4,997
- Titanium Mastermind – $9,997
- Platinum Mastermind – $16,997
- Diamond Mastermind – $29,997
If someone you got into MOBE’s tier system purchases a tier level that you didn’t buy, that money goes to your upline or the owner of the tier system.
They are causing you to miss out on commissions, and it’s kind of like pressuring people psychologically to buy into a tier that they may not be able to afford.
MOBE’s Presell Pages
I’ve seen several of MOBE’s presell pages. Some of the presell pages styles that MOBE loves to use is those advertorials style ads.
If you look closely at the image above, these are some of the types of ads they use.
The problem with these advertorial style ads is that it fools people into believing a story.
They use news headlines, name-drop tactics, fake testimonials with stock photos to grab your attention. They do this to get people to believe that it is a real news story. These stories make people think they’re going to make money in simple ways like free step by step training or link posting jobs.
What you should be aware of is that MOBE is not the only one that the FTC has taken action against using these advertorial style ads.
These presell pages violate the law because deception is used to lure people into paying for a system that isn’t what they thought it was.
Of course, people fall for these because it’s very alluring. They use news headlines and fake stories to grab your attention.
Think about it, do you really want to make money that way?
How ethical is that to try and get recurring income.
Many people make lots of money online without using these presell pages online.
Now if you think about recurring sales, it seems like an excellent idea to use these presell pages.
With MOBE as I said earlier, the FTC took action against them. People were in so much debt that it really messed up a lot of people’s lives.
That is concerning in itself because how could anyone sleep at night knowing that someone could lose everything based upon digital training online with an overinflated price tag.
Getting valuable training is one thing; getting paid based on high priced tag sales for fast money is another.
So you’re looking at thousands of dollars starting out.
That doesn’t have to be the case AT ALL because there are cost-effective investments that work and you can be an affiliate for that makes you money.
Concerns About MOBE Along With What John Crestani
Like I said many times in this article, the FTC has taken action against MOBE for bilking his clients.
People were told to sell their assets, max out their credit cards, or incur more credit debt. People lost thousands of dollars without seeing MOBE’s income disclosure.
If you saw that YouTube video ad, John doesn’t take any other payment options, he tells people if you can’t afford his system, get credit through PayPal.
He also says, there is a 30-day money-back guarantee if WE are unhappy with you!
You know what, John’s Super Affiliate System is a ClickBank product.
ClickBank, in a nutshell, is an Affiliate Network that allows digital marketers to sell their digital products through ClickBank.
ClickBank always has a 30-day money-back guarantee if YOU are not a SATISFIED customer. So don’t let that reverse psychology fool you.
If You Want To Get Into The Affiliate Marketing Field Don’t Think About The Money
Even though money was flashed all over the place with John, know that it takes time and effort to make money in the Affiliate Marketing Industry.
Goals Should Be Set
Start by getting a website and selecting a niche. I know at the beginning of John’s training, he goes into details about that. However, his whole system is about paid advertising.
You can get sales without using paid advertising.
Get some SEO training first, get your website at the top of the search engines. Get some sales through SEO alone, dabble into paid advertising that is cost-effective.
Meaning, learn the shi* before you go down the rabbit hole because you don’t want to get into debt without knowing what you’re getting into.
- Goal select a niche
- Goal get a domain name
- Goal use a website platform
- Goal host your website somewhere
- Goal get consistent content out there online that ranks
- Goal make your first dollar or more online
Once you make your first dollar or more, you know you can make money online without using paid advertisements.
You are hitting the mark somewhere, and now you can branch out a little more by learning how and where people are coming from that is causing you to make money.
You can scale further through getting an autoresponder, utilizing YouTube videos, you can start paid advertisement, add ads on your site and branch out also through other forms like a podcast.
These are some of the things you can do if you choose to.
Once you start getting into the arena, you are going to begin to decipher info online that works for you.
I recommend if you want to meet your goals and start to make money online, this service here will help you with all those steps.
It does take time and work, and it is not a get rich quick scheme.
Is John Crestani A Scam?
I wouldn’t call him a scam! He does offer training that can be useful to some people.
However, you can find right here some ideas about presell pages that work just by doing a simple Google search.
All In All
Okay, people join things, and I’ve done this myself based on emotions. Before you let your emotions get the best of you, take a moment before you get on the bandwagon.
When money or shiny objects are getting flashed, you’re getting involved for the wrong reasons.
John says people like the flashing money and shiny object stuff in the making money online niche.
In my opinion, people want a way to make money from home because they are looking for financial gain income, not lose revenue. That is what I wanted when I wanted to make money from home.
When people see shiny objects, it does emotionally get your attention.
But, it doesn’t last long, especially when the system seems to have more out of pocket expenses.
Know that it doesn’t cost a lot of money building a business online. It does require out of pocket expenses, but you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars.
Also, there is a difference between being upsold and reinvesting your money. You certainly can start off making money online with minimal capital and gradually increase your income.
Then when it’s time to reinvest, you’re doing it to build up your business and not put yourself in financial distress.
I’m going to quote an author that wrote the book The 4-Hour Workweek.
“You can cheat or game almost any system in existence, but that’s going to be very short-lived if the product doesn’t stand on its own two feet.”
