When I found out Kobe Bryant passed away along with eight other people, one who was his daughter, I was so shocked and stunned.
It’s a sad and shocking incident. No one wakes up in the morning, expecting loved ones and people they are familiar with to pass away.
Unfortunately, part of life is dying. I guess you can say we live to die. Every time someone passes so unexpectedly, it’s a reminder that we are not promised tomorrow, and it’s so very important to put your best foot forward.
It’s something we tend to forget as time passes, then another unexpected death takes place, and we get reminded again.
The World Doesn’t Stop For No One
Sometimes we forget that no one individual is exclusive. Time keeps ticking, and the earth keeps moving. Life goes on, and it’s up to us individually to make the best of our personal life.
I get it that circumstances happen that are not necessarily our fault, but how we handle the situation makes the most significant difference.
I get it that people go through stuff that they shouldn’t have to go through. Sometimes this world we live in is just not a peaceful place.
The aftermath can be devastating. It comes down to your inner self and how individuals deal with that circumstance.
The Way I Looked At Kobe’s Life
Kobe Bryant was someone who made things happen for himself. He used his talents to his advantage.
He kept doing that till he died. I’m still shocked that he passed away, and my heart goes out to his family.
I’ve lost loved ones unexpectedly. It’s shocking, and Kobe’s death is a reminder that tomorrow may not be another day for any of us.
No one person goes through life without challenges or hiccups, but Kobe’s life is a reminder that despite the hiccups or challenges we go through, you still can leave the world on top of your game.
So Here Are Some Of My Favorite Kobe Bryant Encouraging Quotes
“Everything negative – pressure, challenges – is all an opportunity for me to rise.” ~ Kobe Bryant
“Be sad. Be mad. Be frustrated. Scream. Cry. Sulk. When you wake up you will think it was just a nightmare only to realize it’s all too real. You will be angry and wish for the day back, the game back THAT play back. But reality gives nothing back and nor should you.” ~ Kobe Bryant
“Have a good time. Life is too short to get bogged down and be discouraged. You have to keep moving. You have to keep going. Put one foot in front of the other, smile and just keep on rolling.” ~ Kobe Bryant
“When we are saying this cannot be accomplished, this cannot be done, then we are short-changing ourselves. My brain, it cannot process failure. It will not process failure. Because if I have to sit there and face myself and tell myself ‘you are a failure,’ I think that is almost worse than dying.” ~ Kobe Bryant
“Once you know what failure feels like, determination chases success.” ~ Kobe Bryant
“The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great at whatever they want to do.” — Kobe Bryant
“The moment you give up, is the moment you let someone else win” ~ Kobe Bryant
“I have self-doubt. I have insecurity. I have fear of failure. I have nights when I show up at the arena and I’m like, ‘My back hurts, my feet hurt, my knees hurt. I don’t have it. I just want to chill.’ We all have self-doubt. You don’t deny it, but you also don’t capitulate to it. You embrace it.” ~ Kobe Bryant
I call this one the mic drop quote!
“These young guys are playing checkers. I’m out there playing chess.” ~ Kobe Bryant
Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, Kobe
“We all can be masters at our craft, but you have to make a choice. What I mean by that is, there are inherent sacrifices that come along with that. Family time, hanging out with friends, being a great friend, being a great son, nephew, whatever the case may be. There are sacrifices that come along with making that decision.” ~ Kobe Bryant
“I’m reflective only in the sense that I learn to move forward. I reflect with a purpose.” ~ Kobe Bryant
“If you’re afraid to fail, then you’re probably going to fail.” ~ Kobe Bryant
“A lot of leaders fail because they don’t have the bravery to touch that nerve or strike that chord.”~ Kobe Bryant

“I want to see if I can. I don’t know if I can. I want to find out. I want to see. I’m going to do what I always do: I’m going to break it down to its smallest form, smallest detail, and go after it. Day by day, one day at a time.” ~ Kobe Bryant
“Haters are a good problem to have. Nobody hates the good ones. They hate the great ones.” ~ Kobe Bryant
Every Last Quote I Got!
I wanted to write something on my blog about Kobe personally. I wouldn’t call myself his biggest fan, but I am a fan.
I was amazed that someone so young got into the NBA, and when a documentary about his life came on television, I watched it.
I watch the documentary when he just started the NBA. I learned so much about his young life back then that I couldn’t help but respect him.
When he passed away, I decided to read some of his quotes, and the website called yourtango.com is where I read them.
There are a lot of other quotes by Kobe Bryant and additional citations that you can find and read on yourtango.com.
I wanted to put more in here, but I had to cut back because there are some awesome quotes by Kobe!
My Favorite Quote Of Them All
This quote is my favorite because there are many people in the world.
You must find your own path.
Most of the time, that path is narrow, however despite how small the path is, it can lead you to great things if you just keep at it and stay in your own lane.
“I create my own path. It was straight and narrow. I looked at it this way: you were either in my way, or out of it.” ~ Kobe Bryant
Learning From The Best
When I read this quote, I was like Yeah, Kobe!
When I wanted to learn about affiliate marketing, I wanted to learn from the best.
Oddly, the best service available that I learned from was in business for nine years before I learned about them.
I always say, I wished I found them sooner, but I found them. If you ever want to be the best at your craft, you have to find the best!
Here is what Kobe Bryant had to say about learning from the best!
“I want to learn how to become the best basketball player in the world. And if I’m going to learn that, I gotta learn from the best. Kids go to school to be doctors or lawyers, so forth and so on and that’s where they study. My place to study is from the best.” ~ Kobe Bryant
Here are a few of Kobe Bryant’s favorite charities,
All In All
Life is a short journey. Where we go after we pass is the biggest mystery of it all.
I’m not here to talk about religion, as everyone has their own beliefs.
What I can say is that you’re alive, so why not live your best life! So I will leave you with this last quote.
“It’s the one thing you can control. You are responsible for how people remember you-or don’t. So don’t take it lightly.” ~ Kobe Bryant
