My Take

mfj testimonials

MyFlexJob makes it seem like people would be doing real task jobs for Fortune 500 companies like Netflix, Groupon, Direct TV, and so on.

They made it seem like it is a simple way to make some extra cash online, but when I started to dig deep into how this system really works, I was very disappointed.

When I signed up for MyFlexJob, I got to a video stating that I would have to pay $25 by using my debit or credit card.

I was required to pay in order to be accepted and that is when I hit the brakes.

I had that feeling of, I know where this is going so I decided to do a little more research and find out exactly what is going on with this service.

I wanted to know exactly what I will be doing to get paid.

What I found out is that these were not jobs at all.

What they were doing was using a deceptive way to get people to complete offers and free trials at different rates.

Doing offers or free trials is not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s something you gotta know what you’re doing and you have to be on it or you can end up in some big-time debt.

In this video on, the FTC’s site, the video explains how some of these scams work by completing free trials and offers.

The Fee

MyFlexJob requires anyone before joining their so-called “service” to sign up and download a cloud product called MyPCBackup.

MyFlexJob’s explanation of doing that download is because if they have any questions about an offer, they are able to access it through their backup software.

The $25 fee is something I really find sketchy because the sites I recommend that also have offered doesn’t require a fee or some sort of cloud that you have to download.

Why Does MyFlexJob Have A Fee From The Get-Go?

I’m assuming this is because right off the bat, they want people to complete an offer so MyFlexJob can make a commission immediately.

In the MyFlexJob get started video they explain that you will get your money back by receiving 2500 points to your dashboard account.

If you didn’t think I hit the breaks hard the first time, I was making tire streaks on the road.

2500 points is a lot different from getting your money back.

There is no telling if you will ever get your money back because the minimum cash out is $50 at MyFlexJob.

That comes to 5000 points that need to be completed.

I’d have to make an additional $25 by completing other offers to even get a chance to get my money back. (eye-roll)!

Why Only Debit And Credit Card, Why Not PayPal?

MyFlexJob will not accept someone using PayPal or under the age of 18.

Under the age of 18 is understandable being that people will have to complete offers.

I believe the main reason why MyFlexJob wants debit or credit card is because a lot of these offers or free trial such DirecTV does not accept payments from PayPal.

I also think they don’t want you to use PayPal because it’s another way you can get paid.

MyflexJob encourages you to use this Payoutpass program that has a lot of fees.

The Offers And Free Trials

If you’re not familiar with offers, check out Fusion Cash, and InboxDollars.

These are sites I recommend and are not just about completing offers.

The sites I recommend also have other ways of making money and it’s completely free to join.

I may sign up for a newsletter offered on the sites I recommend or something that doesn’t require a credit card, but I don’t waste my time trying to do offers or free trials that ask for my credit card information.

If you don’t cancel these offers at the right time you will get charged and it can be difficult to get your money back.

This so-called job offers on the net can be very misleading, this is why I started my own business.

If you ever have seen the show Extreme Couponer’s, they run their coupons like a business.

I mean they got spreadsheets and spend a lot of time organizing, shopping and keeping tabs with the coupons they collect.

With offers, you will be spending a lot of time talking on the phone trying to cancel a product or service along with making sure you call them before that expiration date.

If you don’t do it in time, you could be spending around $100 a month, for a product or service that you really didn’t want.

That leaves your points on that MyFlexJob dashboard with credit, but you spent more money on your credit card and now you’re in debt.

That’s exactly how you gotta run these free trials and offers if you’re not willing to do that with these offers or free trials, I suggest you stay away from it.

Are These Offers Scams?

Some offers can be scams, but just like what the FTC explains in their video, you gotta do a lot of research before you do an offer or free trial.

If still want to take venture, I highly suggest you:

  • Get a new email account that is only for offers.
  • Use spreadsheets because when you do theses offers you will know exactly when to cancel. This prevents you from getting any surprise charges.
  • Do some research on all the offers you want to complete.

Pros And Cons

Pros

MyFlexJobs seems to pay people at a high rate for completing offers.

Cons

MyFlexJobs make it sound easy to do. I believe it will take a lot longer than 5 to 10 minutes to complete an offer.

I read some complaints people had online, mainly what people said is that there are no real jobs.

Does My Flex Job offer “Real” Jobs?

NO!!! I say this because you’re pretty much running your own business.

I didn’t go any further with this site because they require a $25 payment upfront.

Also, there is no guarantee that I will ever, ever I mean ever make 5000 points EVER.

Here is a list of jobs and services that you can check out.

If you downloaded My PC Backup here are some tips on how to remove the software.

All In All

I found MyflexJob to be deceptive on how they advertised their services.

I learned that they really don’t offer people “real jobs”.

They even charge you a fee to download a product before you can be accepted.

Even though they claim you will get your money back, there is no guarantee you will.

In my opinion that is misleading.

No one likes to be duped and this is one of the examples I talked about on my site.

Sometimes they make it appear to be a job, then you find out you have to pay before you can start and there is no guarantee you will ever make any money ever.

If you’re interested in finding a way to build a business online, I would highly suggest you check out Wealthy Affiliate.

I began this site because I have a child with special needs and wanted to work from home.

I too wanted a flexible schedule and I don’t mean flexible, I mean flex flexible like Elastigirl on The Incredibles.

I started off finding ways to make money online. I started with sites that didn’t require any upfront fees or out of pocket expenses.

I got passionate about all these deceptive sites like MyFlexJob that make it seems like you will work and get a paycheck when that is really not the case at all, who has time for that!

When I decided to build this site, I chose a niche about earning extra money online and to let people know what is really going on in the Wild Wild West.

It’s been a year since I’ve started my site. It’s been fun, some struggles, but I make money and that’s why I have a #1 heroic Site because they educate people in regards to making money from home.

I wish you all the best out there and try to stay away from these scams in the wild place we call the internet.
