Opinion Outpost is one of the oldest survey sites out there in the online world.
Their website has some good and bad attributes.
I actively do Opinion Outpost and would like to share my review and opinion about their site.
Some of you may feel that survey sites are a waste of time, while others may feel differently.
With survey sites, you can make extra cash online by completing surveys.
The key is to find the right ones that work for you.
In this Opinion Outpost review, you may find reasons why their site can work for you.

Like I just said, Opinion Outpost has been out there in the survey world for years. I’m sure anyone who participates in surveys is familiar with this company. Opinion Outpost has some good and some bad points about them.
I usually get on average 2 emails a day from them. From my personal experience, I generally qualify and complete a survey once a week.
I don’t spend a lot of time with Opinion Outpost, but from all the other market research services, their point and pay ratio is one of the best.
The Good Stuff
Opinion Outpost is a legitimate site. Here is the good info on what I like about their service.
- Pays you pretty quickly
- 100 points = $10
- Pay through PayPal
- Pretty easy to do
- Affiliate Program
- Quarterly Drawings
- Pick A Door Game
I love sites that pay quickly! With Opinion Outpost, I’m able to cash out and redeem my points into my PayPal account within a day.
Their service sends you emails when they have a survey available for you to qualify for. What is pretty cool is that before you start a survey, they will inform you of how many points you get for the survey and how long it can take to complete.
If you don’t want to complete the survey you get through your email, just delete the email. If you do, just click take the survey and if you qualify and complete the survey, you get your points in your dashboard right away.
If You Don’t Qualify For A Survey
Who wants to spend time trying to qualify for surveys and get nothing for it, I know I don’t.
So, I’m sure you are wondering what happens if you don’t qualify for a survey through Opinion Outpost and that is, if you don’t qualify for a survey, you get entered into Opinion Outpost quarterly drawings.
You get a chance to win $10,000 four times a year. I’ve never won this prize, but they usually post the people who won the prize.
If you don’t qualify for a survey besides the quarterly drawings, you’re able to play the pick a door game and it’s pretty simple.
All you do is pick a door and you can win from nothing to as high as 20 points.
I know, I know to win nothing sounds like a waste of time so I’m going to let you know that I would get nothing most of the time when I play to pick a door.
Actually, to give you an idea, I play this game a lot and I only won once and it was 5 points, which is 50 cents.
Even though Opinion Outpost is a legitimate site, they do have some bad stuff such as
- You have to qualify for every survey they email you
- Some surveys ask a lot of questions
- Can be time-consuming
- You have to live in the United States
- No guarantee you will get anything when you don’t qualify for a survey
Some people find qualifying for a survey quite irritating because it can take up a lot of your time.
Even though you try to qualify for a survey doesn’t mean you will be selected.
This can cause people to just give up on surveys because they may feel they spent more time trying to qualify and no points were earned.
I know I said Opinion Outpost gives you something for trying to qualify for their surveys, but I feel that maybe they should give their members points in their dashboard knowing that their time wasn’t completely wasted.
I know you get put in drawings and play a game, which is appreciative, however, there could be a good amount of surveys that a person doesn’t qualify for and maybe Opinion Outpost could add 5 points to a Member’s dashboard after a certain amount of unqualified surveys a person tried to qualify for.
Another point I want to add is that who likes to be asked the same questions over and over again? With survey sites, sometimes surveys can have repetitive questions.
This can be a little nervy when you just finish answering a question and they restate a question in a different way.
I believe they do this because they want to make sure that you’re answering their questions honestly.
I know it can be nervy but, you will experience this when you participate in surveys.
Is Opinion Outpost Worth Your Time?
I would say yes!
- Great Pay Ratio
- Pays Quickly
- It’s legit
Why Do I Have Time For That?
Opinion Outpost has the best points to pay ratio that I’ve come across. A lot of Market Research Sites pay ratio is at 1,000 points for $10 and it can take a much longer time to cash out.
I feel that if you are going to spend time qualifying for surveys, you may want to consider sites that have you complete other tasks so you are able to cash out at a higher rate.
I personally would recommend completing surveys on sites like ClixSense, InboxDollars or Fusion Cash because they give you the money in your dashboard, plus you can earn money in other ways with these sites.
These 1,000-point pay ratio sites tend to give the same amount of point that Opinion Outpost gives you so that causes a much longer time to get paid.
Opinion Outpost also pays you quickly and I tend to accumulate my 100 points quickly. I started Opinion Outpost around May 2013 and thus far I made $60 from the time I wrote this article.
Before you say that’s nothing, I stopped doing Opinion Outpost for nearly a year because I was testing other paying sites, plus I was building my website that you’re reading now.
I learned how to build a website through Wealthy Affiliate and it is a service that can really help you generate a full-time income completely from home.
All In All
I personally found the time to do Opinion Outpost. I don’t spend my time trying to qualify for every survey I get because I don’t have time for that, Lol.
I like Opinion Outpost because they pay pretty well for each completed survey and they pay you quickly.
If you have the time to do Opinion Outpost then you should check it out.
If surveys are not your thing, I would highly suggest you check out Wealthy Affiliate. It’s a great service that can help you build a business from home.
