Many sites offer database info for surveys that people could get for a price.
I know these prices are not going to put someone in the poor house, but as a consumer, you have to ask yourself, is the price worth it.
I’m bringing the price up because I complete surveys online, and I’m very familiar with them.
If you’re unfamiliar regarding surveys online in general, why don’t you take the time to read my Paid Surveys At Home.com review because a few minutes of reading can save you time and money?

What is Paid Surveys At Home aka PSAH?
- It’s a service site.
How does it work?
- PSAH offers a database of surveys that people are able to join for a one time fee.
How much does it cost?
Note: if you don’t place in that coupon code within PSAH’s site, you will pay $68
Who can join?
- 18 and over
Like I just said, I’ve done plenty of surveys and I’m very familiar with how they work. By looking over PSAH’s site, I would say they didn’t completely over-exaggerated their claims, but I do feel that they over glamorized surveys.
What You Will be Doing To Get Paid
I want to warn you in that image above, where you see that $20 for 20 minutes,
It is not the norm.
It is quite rare to complete a survey that pays $20 for 20 minutes.
That statement is more of a selling point for PSAH (Paid Surveys At Home).
They state the ways you can get paid through surveys and these are all realistic ways.
- Taking Surveys
- Focus Groups
- Phone Surveys
- Try New Products
- Preview Movie Trailers
Paid Surveys At Home Calculator
If you were on the PSAH’s site you would have noticed a calculator. The calculator is for you to determine the possibility of how much money you could get paid if you were consistently doing surveys on a daily basis.
What I did was placed the most realistic amount that you could make by consistently doing surveys from home.
If you look at the image above, I couldn’t go any lower on their calculator.
As you can see in the image above, they have $1 per survey completed.
From my experience, the average surveys usually pay fifty cents per survey completed.
Sometimes it’s a quarter, it depends on the market research company, and sometimes it is the time you put into a survey in regards to what it pays.
Don’t get me wrong, you could run across surveys that pay a buck, however, there may be a qualification process that takes 20 mins, then they may compensate you a buck once you spend another 20 mins completing the survey.
I noticed from my experience, surveys that pay more seems to be quite difficult to qualify for.
To give you an example, In the past, I would select a survey that says it pays five bucks. What tends to happen with higher-paying surveys is that,
- Surveys are completed and it’s closed
- I spent 20 minutes trying to qualify and I didn’t qualify
- It says I qualified than in the middle of the survey, it will shut down
It got to the point that I question these so-called higher-paying surveys because from my experience they are always a miss.
Not only that, I think they place these so-called higher-paying surveys on their site to make it seem like people can get paid good money to complete surveys and it’s just not the case.
Another point I want to add is that surveys are time-consuming. Let me explain,
The first step you will go through is completing your profile with a certain site that is going to compensate you for completing surveys.
Once your profile is completed, you will then be given surveys that will ask you a series of questions, but these questions don’t mean you will qualify or get compensated for these surveys. These questions are mainly to find surveys that best match surveys that you may qualify to complete.
If you qualify, then you would be able to complete the survey. Most surveys run around 20 minutes, but to get qualified to get compensated for a single survey can eat up at least 10 minutes or more of your time on a single survey.
Oh, I’m not done yet, another point I would like to add is that you could be spending a lot of time trying to qualify for different surveys for the whole day leading to your whole day ending up being a waste because you didn’t qualify for a single survey.
So when you look at that calculator above, it’s not realistic, that was my point.
Paid Surveys At Home Testimonials
I always tell people not to take testimonials too seriously online. I know you can get a general idea of what to expect with testimonials, but I’ve come across a lot of sites that use fake testimonials to get that sale.
If you look at PSAH’s site, they stated on their site, “images of consumers testimonials have been modified for privacy”. Well, in my book, I’m assuming that these testimonial images are of stock photos.
Let’s put aside the stock photos images because there is no doubt that people can get compensated for completing surveys.
I just want people to know that the money made will be minimal. The money made is more or less extra cash for people.
Should I Pay To Get Access?
NO, let me explain why,
If you’re going to dive into the survey word, all you have to do is Google the word surveys and from there you will see a whole bunch of survey site results.
Once you join one survey site, a whole bunch of other market research companies will come to you like wildfire.
Like I’ve said a few times within this review, I’m very familiar with surveys, your best bet is to go with a site that compensates the best along with being able to complete surveys.
From my experience, your best bet is to start off with Opinion Outpost. I select them because of the point and pay ratio seems to be the best.
Most survey sites compensate you with points. The average site pays $10.00 for 1,000 points.
Opinion Outpost pays $10.00 for 100 points. Being that Opinion Outpost pay ratio is one of the best, you’re able to get paid more often.
Here Are A List Of Survey Sites That I Recommend
The reason why I recommend these sites is because,
- Some of these sites offer other ways to make money since there will be days you will not qualify for surveys.
- Some of these sites you don’t have to qualify for anything to get compensated for completing their surveys.
- The best part is that it will not cost you a dime to join these sites.
That means you don’t have to pay for a database of info just to do surveys. I really personally don’t recommend anyone ever pay anyone to obtain surveys ever.
I recommend you read each review so you get a general idea of how these sites compensate you.
All In All
In my book, I felt that Paid Surveys At Home glamorized the whole survey deal. It does sound glamorous to make money anywhere, anyplace, and anytime.
I’ve done surveys and I know for a fact that the pay is not going to be anything substantial by answering questions.
Surveys can eat up a lot of your time and you have to go through a qualifying process before you are even selected to complete a single survey.
Yes, you can make extra money by completing surveys, but it’s not going to be a lot of money or life-changing money.
Your best bet if you’re going to dive into the survey world is to select a couple of good sites and call it a day.
If surveys are not your thing and you want to know about other ways to make money from home. I recommend you get this info!
