I was watching the news the other day and learned that those iconic retails stores are closing a number of their stores down.
I even found out that shopping malls are closing as well.
In this era we are living in today, people are more digital than ever.
Being that we are more of a digital society, online stores seem to be booming more than ever.
How Are People Shopping These Days?
What is happening is that people are more inclined to shop online rather than going to a local retail store to purchase products.
Well, I guess the new location is online.
Don’t get me wrong, we all like to go out into the real world and do some shopping, but as humans, convenience in finding what we want is a big thing these days.
Not only that, people who are shopping sometimes want more info from an ad they came across.
People want more info and being that we can just pull out our cellphones, we can get more info about a product or service and purchase the product or service right at our fingertips.
Not only that, but bargain hunting is also quite easy. We can find the same brand item at half the cost if we do enough research.
Maybe The Show Hoarders Was A Light Bulb Moment As Well
Hoarders? What am I talking about here, Lol?
Well, people are not filling up their closets with tons of clothes and stuff that are not needed.
People are realizing there is more to life than just cluttering their life with stuff.
People are more into spending their money on entertainment and products that enrich their lives.
If you still are not feeling what I’m saying thus far, feel free to watch the video below to get a better idea of what I am talking about.
Do You Really Need All That Stuff?
When I watched the video, actually before I watched that news clip, I kind of have been less into the shopping feel and actually have been getting rid of a lot of stuff that I don’t need.
Don’t get me wrong, I do like to shop in the real world, but to give you an example of what I’m talking about, I get the clothes I need when I need it.
Maybe it’s because I work from home and I don’t need a bunch of clothes like I used to.
I kinda like it, most of my clothes are based on comfort and when It’s time to put on something special, I just go out and purchase the pieces that I want to add to my wardrobe.
I’d rather save up and purchase a nice luxury car than fill my closet with a bunch of expensive clothes.
I’ve also don’t like a lot of clutter and getting rid of things has really made my life easier.
What I like to spend my dollars on is more in the entertainment field.
I’d rather go out on the town and enjoy a great meal or try and make one of those recipes I see on TV.
Okay, I’m being honest here, I’m sure the food I make never is quite as appealing or as good as the actual person making it, but I do enjoy trying it just for the fun of it.
In general, though, I feel that people are looking for a better quality of life than the number of items they own. If you think about it, you can’t take it with you when you die.
Have You Watched Those Cooking Shows And Wanted To Try It?
People are now putting their dollars into travel, dining, and products they really enjoy and not just cluttering their lives with stuff.
Downsizing seems to be a big thing these days. Even on those home network channels show how some people are even downsizing their homes and traveling with it.
Okay, for me though, I need my space, Lol. I can’t go that small, but I can see how people will select a smaller that fits their needs.
Retail Jobs Are On The Decline
Unfortunately, as time keep modernizing, jobs tend to decline. Just like with retail stores closing, sales clerk jobs are on the decline.
It’s not a bad thing though because if you look outside the box there are opportunities out there that can benefit people.
How Can You Get In On The Benefits Of The Online Boom?
Well, if you are in the retail industry or any industry I might add, starting your own online business can be quite a lucrative way to offset the job loss in pretty much any industry.
Since we are talking about retail jobs being a loss, let me give you an example of what I’m talking about.
If you worked in the retail business, you know people ask questions about the products sold in the stores that retail clerks work at, as the clerk, they recommend or tell others where to find these products in their stores they work at.
You can absolutely do that with a business online. You can recommend products and services to people and make money online doing just that.
Actually, if you put the time and effort into your business it can out beat the income of a retail job tremendously.
Where And How Do I Start An Online Business?
Okay, before you get all excited, I am not going to sugar coat anything. It does take work, but with time and effort, you can start building your own lucrative niche website within a year.
How to Start
I’ve tried on my own spending a lot of time researching and I didn’t know what the heck I was doing.
I like people to start off properly and on the right foot, this way you’re not grasping and wasting your time trying to figure everything out like I did, and believe me, it can take years trying to figure everything out.
I found a service that helped me on one platform. I’m in my third year there and I must say, I’ve experienced success with this service.
What I’ve Accomplished
I learned how to build an online business and grow businesses from this service.
What made me check out their service 3 years ago is that they offered 10 free lessons and 2 websites without me ever pulling out a single credit card.
I kid you not, I got the lessons to actually learn the basics of building a business online.
No, your credit info will not be held hostage because you never have to give that info out to check out their service.
I call this service My #1 Heroic Site because I actually learned how to do it and if I can do this I know for a fact that others can too.
People I’ve recommended this service to have been doing it and I called myself a proud virtual mom to the ones who put their roots down and hard work to get their home business going.
All In All
I know times can get tough when times are a-changing. It always seems like gloom and doom when businesses close, but you know the saying when one door closes another door opens.
When I decided to just go for it and build a business online, I thought it was going to be a challenge. Yes, there are some obstacles because we are all on a different learning curve.
This is another reason why I recommend My #1 Heroic Site. I recommend them because their community of people helps each other out. You will know what I mean once you check them out!
Anyways, there is nothing wrong with trying something new and getting some knowledge. Take advantage of that free training and you can decide for yourself what you want to do next.
